By accessing or using BREVIS ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

BREVIS is a newsletter management platform that helps you organize, summarize, and analyze newsletter content using AI technology. The Service includes email forwarding, AI-powered summaries, briefs, reports, and newsletter management tools.

3. Account Registration

• You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service.
• One person per account. Account sharing is not permitted.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems.
• Upload malicious content or attempt to exploit the Service.
• Resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit the Service without permission.
• Use the Service to process content you do not have the right to use.

5. Subscriptions & Payments

• Free accounts have limited functionality. Paid plans unlock additional AI features.
• Payments are processed securely through Stripe.
• Subscriptions renew automatically. You can cancel at any time through your account settings.
• Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact us within 14 days of charge.

6. AI-Generated Content

Summaries, briefs, and reports are generated by AI (Anthropic's Claude). While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated content may contain errors or omissions. You should verify important information independently. BREVIS is not responsible for decisions made based on AI-generated content.

7. Intellectual Property

• You retain ownership of content you upload or forward to the Service.
• AI-generated summaries and reports are yours to use freely.
• The BREVIS platform, brand, and technology remain our intellectual property.

8. Data & Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you consent to the collection and use of information as described therein.

9. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BREVIS shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
