• Newsletter content: emails forwarded to your BREVIS inbox for processing.
• Usage data: features used, summaries generated, and preferences.
• Payment information: processed securely by Stripe. We do not store card details.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and improve the BREVIS service.
• To generate AI-powered summaries, briefs, and reports from your newsletters.
• To send service-related communications (verification emails, password resets).
• To process payments via Stripe.

3. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored in encrypted databases. Passwords are hashed using bcrypt. All connections use HTTPS. We follow industry-standard security practices to protect your information.

4. Third-Party Services

• Anthropic (Claude): AI processing for summaries and reports. Newsletter content is sent to Claude's API for analysis.
• Stripe: Payment processing. Subject to Stripe's Privacy Policy.
• Google OAuth: Optional sign-in. Subject to Google's Privacy Policy.

5. Data Retention

Your newsletters and account data are retained for as long as your account is active. You can delete individual newsletters at any time. To delete your entire account, contact us.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access your personal data.
• Request correction of inaccurate data.
• Request deletion of your account and data.
• Export your data.

7. Cookies

We use essential cookies only: authentication tokens (httpOnly, secure) and your language preference. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or in-app notification.
