How to add content to BREVIS

Five ways to get newsletters, threads, and posts into your reading list.

1
Email forwarding

All plans

Every BREVIS account gets a unique email address. Forward any newsletter to it and it appears in your dashboard automatically.

  1. Find your personal BREVIS email in the dashboard (looks like brief-xxxxxxxx@mail.brevisapp.com)
  2. Forward any newsletter email to that address
  3. It shows up in your inbox within seconds

Tip: save your BREVIS email as a contact so forwarding is one tap.

2
RSS / Substack feeds

All plans

Subscribe to RSS feeds and Substack newsletters directly. BREVIS checks for new posts every 30 minutes.

  1. Go to Manage feeds in the sidebar
  2. Paste a Substack URL (e.g. newsletter.substack.com) or any RSS feed URL
  3. You can also import an OPML file to add multiple feeds at once
3
Import from Twitter / X

Twitter / X

Save any tweet or thread as a newsletter entry by pasting the URL.

  1. Click + Add in the dashboard
  2. In the Import URL tab, paste a tweet link (e.g. https://x.com/user/status/123...)
  3. BREVIS fetches the tweet text (including full threads) and saves it
4
Web Clipper bookmarklet

Twitter / X LinkedIn Any page

Save content from any web page with one click. This is the only way to save LinkedIn posts (LinkedIn blocks server-side access).

  1. Open Web Clipper in the sidebar
  2. Drag the "Save to BREVIS" button to your browser's bookmark bar
  3. When you're on a page you want to save, click the bookmarklet
  4. A small popup confirms the save

The bookmarklet automatically detects Twitter threads and LinkedIn posts and extracts the relevant content.

5
Manual entry

All plans

Add any content manually by filling in the title, source, and content.

  1. Click + Add in the dashboard
  2. Switch to the Manual tab
  3. Fill in the title, source, content, and optionally a URL
